Kalupur Commercial Co-op Bank- the largest co-op bank in Gujarat organized a blood donation camp recently at its Madhupura branch in Ahmadabad. The camp was organized to celebrate teachers’ day as well as the 13th foundation day of the UCB’s Madhupura branch, read a press release by the bank.
The blood camp was organized in association with Gujarat Cancer Society Medical College Hospital and Research Center along with Ahmedabad Red Cross Society. It was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Shri Bhikhubhai A Adroja who has been accorded recognition as the ‘Best Teacher’ by State and Central Government and is Principal in H B Kapadia Primary School, Shahibaug.
Rajendrabhai Modi, Vice-Chairman of the Development Committee of Madhupura Branch, felicitated Shri Bhikhubhai A Adroja by giving a book. About 80 units of blood was donated on this occasion.
The Kalupur Bank have always been active in social services including Environment Day, Health Check-up Camp round the year along with its banking business, claimed the release.
