Milind Kale has stepped down from his position as Chairman of the Board of Management (BoM) of Cosmos Cooperative Bank. Kale also serves as the Vice Chairman of NAFCUB.
According to information available with Indian Cooperative, Kale tendered his resignation from the post a few days ago. It is learnt that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been informed about the development. The reasons behind his resignation were not immediately known.
During his tenure, Kale played a significant role in strengthening the bank’s governance standards and operational framework through the implementation of the Board of Management system at the bank.
He was associated with several key initiatives aimed at aligning the bank’s operations with evolving regulatory requirements and business needs.
Kale’s resignation marks a significant development for the Pune-based cooperative bank, which is among the leading urban cooperative banks in the country.
