Maharashtra-based Kallappanna Awade Ichalkaranji Janata Sahakari Bank (KAIJS Bank), a Multi-State Scheduled Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ichalkaranji, has recently been conferred the prestigious ‘Excellent Bank Award’ by the Maharashtra State Co-op. Banks Federation, Mumbai.
The award was presented by Jyotindra Mehta, Chairman of the National Cooperative Finance and Development, Mumbai, in the presence of MLC Pravin Darekar, Ajay Brahmecha, Federation Chairman, Vice-Chairman Mrs. Vaishali Awade, and other distinguished dignitaries.
Established in 1963, KAIJS Bank was founded with the vision of providing financial assistance to all sections of society and eliminating the hardships of the common people. Today, the bank operates through 54 branches across Maharashtra and Karnataka, earning a reputation as a people-centric institution committed to financial welfare.
On this achievement, Bank Chairman Shri Swapnil Awade said the award reflects the bank’s commitment to resolving financial issues, supporting industries and traders, and offering customer-friendly, technology-driven services on par with nationalized and private banks.
He assured that KAIJS Bank would continue to work tirelessly for the development and upliftment of the common man.
