Maharashtra-based Jijau Commercial Co-operative Bank has been honoured with the prestigious “Excellence in Customer Service – Co-operative Bank of the Year” award at the India Banking Summit & Awards 2025, held recently in Mumbai.
The award was received by Er. Avinash Kothale, Chairman of Jijau Bank, along with Prof. Anil Bund, Anil Tale, and Dr. Surendra Daloo. The recognition comes during the bank’s Silver Jubilee year, making the honour even more significant.
Chairman Kothale dedicated the award to the bank’s customers, staff, and board members. Rajendra Jadhav, head of the bank’s management board, expressed confidence in the bank’s continued commitment to inclusive and high-quality service.
The two-day summit witnessed participation from leading public sector, private, cooperative banks, and fintech companies from across the country.
Representatives from prominent institutions such as State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Shamrao Viththal Co-operative Bank, Janata Co-operative Bank, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ESAF Small Finance Bank, and Jijau Bank took part in thought-provoking panel discussions on key trends and innovations shaping the banking sector.
