The Cooperative Election Authority has approved the elections to the Board of Directors of the Yavatmal-based Jay Jagannath Multi State Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., marking a smooth and unanimous electoral process. All 11 board positions were declared elected unopposed on Monday.
Out of the total seats, eight belong to the general category, from which Dhananjay Sanjay Khade, Sanjay Ramchandra Khade, Vijay Sadashiv Nikhade, Pawan Dnyaneshwar, Raju Kawadu Dhande, Ishwar Sanjay Khade, and Pallavi Abhay Parkhi have been elected unopposed. Additionally, Shobha Thakare and Sangita Khade have been elected from the women’s category, while Pratik Gedam has been elected from the SC/ST category.
Speaking to Indian Cooperative, Founder-Chairman Sanjay Ramchandra Khade expressed satisfaction over the unanimous election results. “Yes, the election of the society has been held unopposed. We are still a new organization, but we are committed to taking the society to new heights and addressing the financial needs of the local community,” he said.
Highlighting the society’s growth, Khade added, “Our current deposits stand at around Rs 22 crore with a single branch. Our goal is to expand our branch network. Though there are challenges, we are ready to overcome them.”
The society’s unopposed election reflects the collective confidence of its members in the existing leadership and its vision for cooperative growth in the region.
