Given the second wave of Covid has spelled doom for the hotel industry, Pune based Janata Sahakari Bank has come to the rescue of businessmen involved in the hotel business.
The bank is offering loans to the hoteliers at an interest rate of 10 percent. It is worth mentioning that several small businesses are in a serious financial crisis in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19.
“In times of such uncertainty, Janata Sahakari Bank has always stood by its customers. Janata Sahakari Bank is coming up with a unique scheme for small hoteliers”, the official social media handle of the bank tweeted.
The hoteliers are now saying the second Covid wave has done more damage than last year to the tourism industry.
