Hindu reports AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has underlined the importance of protecting cooperative banks so they could give cheap loans to people in general.
The chief minister asked officials to strengthen cooperative banks and enable them to give loans at reduced rates of interest.
Reddy also took up the issue of strengthening DCCBs, societies, computerization, transparency policies, and integrating with RBKs.
