To mark the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO), in collaboration with IMS Ghaziabad, organized a grand Inter-Institute National Declamation Competition on July 3 at the IMS campus.
Themed “Cooperatives: Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Solutions for a Better World,” the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 400 students, including 100+ registered contestants from prestigious institutions across the country.
The competition served as a powerful platform for young voices to express their views on cooperation, sustainability, and inclusion through impactful speeches.
The event was graced by Kapil Meena, IAS, Director (Media & Publication), Ministry of Cooperation, who served as Chief Guest and lauded the initiative for encouraging youth engagement in the cooperative movement.
Distinguished guests included S.S. Yadav, Director (HR), KRIBHCO; Balasubramaniam (Balu) Iyer, Regional Director, ICA-AP; and Prasoon M. Tripathi, Director, IMS Ghaziabad. A panel of eminent jurors from media, finance, academia, and PR evaluated the competition.
Following preliminary screenings, 53 students advanced to the first round, and 8 finalists competed in the final round. Winners were awarded Rs 51,000, Rs 31,000, and Rs 21,000 respectively. The event was jointly convened by V.K. Tiwari, Joint GM (M&PR), KRIBHCO, and Tripathi.
