At the National Conference on Bamboo and Medicinal Plants 2025 held in Bhubaneswar, IRMA, “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Medicinal Plants Board (SMPB), under the Forest & Environment Department, Government of Odisha.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Forest, Environment & Climate Change, Labour, and Employees State Insurance, Government of Odisha.
Under this MoU, IRMA–TSU will work towards establishing a comprehensive framework for the commercialization and value addition of diversified medicinal plant-based products in Odisha. The collaboration will also focus on product innovation, standardization, branding, and market development, among other key areas.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Saswata Narayan Biswas, Director, IRMA, “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, and Karthick V., IFS, Chief Executive, SMPB.
