A high-level international delegation participating in the “Programme on Digitalization of Cooperative and Rural Financial Institutions” visited Venkateshwara Co-op. Power & Agro Processing Ltd., Nashik, last week.
The delegation comprised senior officials from Liberia, Gambia, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritius, Nigeria, Oman, Sri Lanka, and Zambia, along with representatives from the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) and VAMNICOM, Pune.
Dr. Shivaji Rao Dole, Chairman of the cooperative, welcomed the delegates and briefed them on the institution’s major projects. The visitors toured key facilities and reviewed various operational processes, with a special focus on the cooperative’s digital systems and their impact on rural development.
The delegation expressed appreciation for the organization’s modern management practices and innovative use of technology. They described Venkateshwara Co-op as a model institution in the cooperative and rural finance ecosystem.
The visit also facilitated a valuable exchange of ideas on digital transformation.
