Indian Potash Limited draws crowds at Pusa Mela

The Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela, organised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, was inaugurated by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The three-day fair, which will continue until the 27th, has attracted participation from leading fertilizer, pesticide, and agri-input companies from across the country.

Among major attractions is Indian Potash Limited (IPL), which has combined three stalls into one integrated pavilion offering comprehensive information on crop nutrition, balanced fertilizer management, animal feed, dairy and sugar products, and modern agricultural solutions. Farmers visiting the stall are receiving free educational materials and interacting directly with experts.

IPL is promoting the 6R principle, Right Source, Dose, Method, Time, Combination of Fertilizers and Water Management, to reduce cultivation costs and enhance productivity. Officials said the initiative supports sustainable farming and aligns with the vision of “Viksit Krishi–Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
