It’s a matter of honour for cooperatives in general and Indian Cooperative in particular that its story on the recent meeting of cooperators with the Niti Aayog Vice-Chairman Dr Rajeev Kumar and its member Ramesh Chand has been featured on Niti Aayog website.
Titled “Niti Aaayog holds meaningful dialogue with cooperators” the story features in the section of website called “NITI in the News”. Out of tens of stories on the Niti Aayog in media, it picks up those which are relevant to its goal and purpose. The other stories currently on display are from Economic Times and First Posts, etc.
It bears recall that the Vice-Chairman of Niti Aayog Rajeev Kumar held a meeting in which cooperators numbering more than fifty from across the country had participated.
NITI Aayog’s cooperative conference was on the subject “Co-operative Sector as a Catalyst for Development”. The conference turned out to be a brain-storming session in which issues throttling the movement were discussed threadbare.
There were some presentations also made by the cooperators on this occasion.
