Indian Cooperative editor in chief Mr. Ajay Jha was felicitated by the apex body of urban cooperative banks and credit societies-Nafcub for doing exemplary work in covering the cooperative sector.
Jha was felicitated by Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta in the presence of senior cooperative leader HK Patil and other delegates representing different cooperative banks, who came from different states to attend the annual general meeting of the Nafcub.
Jha was felicitated with a bouquet, a shawl, and a memento, among other things.
While appreciating the work of Indian Cooperative, Mehta lauded its role in bringing the success stories from the cooperative sector but he said there is always still more to be covered.
A humbled Jha thanked the Nafcub President and said “We journalists do our job and are not used to such felicitations; anyway, thanks a lot for appreciating our work”.
