Allaying fears of any potential decrease in Indian market prices of arecanut due to the center’s decision to import Green Arecanut from Bhutan, A.Kishore Kumar Kodgi, President of CAMPCO has said the import from Bhutan is so negligible as to cause any problem.
The CAMPCO represents more than 1,41,000 grower members.
The CAMPCO President’s message is aimed at alleviating any fears or uncertainties among domestic Arecanut Growers and instilling confidence with the farming community.
Kodgi will like the farmers to continue their activities without being concerned about potential market disruptions due to the import of Arecanut from Bhutan.
