An MoU has been signed between the IFFCO promoted Multi-State Cooperative Society Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Limited (IFFDC) and Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University on Tuesday.
On behalf of Haryana University, its Vice-Chancellor Dr B R Kamboj and from IFFDC, its MD S P Singh signed the MoU.
The IFFDC came into being in 1993 with the objective of developing wasteland for tree plantation thereby enhancing the socio-economic status of rural poor through sustainable Natural Resource Management by collective action.
Empowering rural Women has been at the centre of IFFDC’s strategy.
