Former Managing Director of IFFCO, Dr U S Awasthi, on Wednesday shared that he hosted a senior delegation from Tokio Marine Group at his residence, describing the interaction as a memorable and productive evening.
The delegation was led by Masahiro Koike, Group CEO of Tokio Marine, and included Yoshinari Endo, Azusa Makazato, and Tatsuya Fujimoto.
In a post on social media platform X, Dr Awasthi said the discussions focused on the formation and long-term vision of IFFCO Tokio, highlighting the evolution of the Indo-Japanese joint venture and its role in India’s general insurance sector. The exchange also reflected on shared values, institutional growth, and future opportunities for the company.
Dr Awasthi noted that he was honoured by the appreciation expressed for his contribution during his tenure as Chairman of the Executive Committee of IFFCO Tokio. Extending his best wishes, he expressed confidence in the leadership team and the company’s continued progress in the years ahead.
