A large farmers’ conference along with a free eye training and cataract surgery camp will be inaugurated in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday. The event will be organised under the aegis of IFFCO and is expected to see participation from farmers and members of the cooperative sector.
IFFCO Chairman Dilip Sanghani will attend the programme as the chief guest, while it will be presided over by Narendra Singh Tomar, Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
The conference will focus on farmers’ welfare, cooperative values and the role of the cooperative movement in strengthening rural livelihoods. Leaders are expected to share their views and provide guidance on initiatives being undertaken for the benefit of farmers.
Alongside the conference, a free eye training and cataract surgery camp will also be organised to provide eye care services to farmers and rural residents.
The programme will be broadcast live on IFFCO’s YouTube channel from 11:00 am on Friday, March 13, 2026, and members of the cooperative sector have been encouraged to join the live telecast.
