Happy at the news, IFFCO’s officers’ union and employees’ union heads rushed to MD’s chamber to greet him on the fertilizer cooperative titan securing the 1st position among the world top 300 cooperatives.
AIICF Chairman Jitendra Tiwary, AIIEF Chairman Brajesh Kumar, IFFCO, Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar and PR Head Harshendra Singh Verdhan, among others, congratulated Dr U S Awasthi in his office at the IFFCO headquarters.
A press release sent to Indian Cooperative reads, “This is only possible because of your exemplary, forward-thinking, and pioneering leadership. Nano Urea is a terrific illustration of how your creative ideas have always been at the forefront of IFFCO’s continuous development ”.
“Future generations will look back on Nano Fertilizers as a ground-breaking, creative, futuristic, and never- before-seen product. Since, Nano Fertilizers have been demonstrated to efficiently conserve groundwater while also being environmentally friendly, this product is aligned with the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister for environmentally friendly advancements. As this product does not attract any subsidies, the burden of government subsidies will also be lessened”, it further reads.
The press release added that, “Not only in the Cooperative but also in the Corporate Sector, there are relatively few people, like you, with such innovative and pioneering thinking and ideas. We believe that coming generations will be highly indebted to you for your outstanding contributions to the Farming Community, Society and the Nation”.
It bears recalling that on Thursday, the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) and the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises (Euricse) launched the 2022 edition of the World Cooperative Monitor in which IFFCO has figured prominently.
