Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Minister Shiv Pal Singh Yadav and PCF Chairman Aditya Yadav who is also on the board of the fertilizer cooperative paid a surprise visit to IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi at the latter’s village on his birthday.
Sharing the information along with the photographs of the meeting Dr Awasthi tweeted ”Delighted, shivpal singh yadav Cooperative Minister, sp aditya yadav, Chairman PCF UP visited to wish me on my birthday”.
Among other things the leaders discussed improving the lot of farmers as tweeted by Awasthi “it was a very fruitful meeting on rural and farmers development.”
Awasthi also met the MD of Pradeshik Cooperative Federation. He put emphasis on various points related to the development of the cooperative as well as discussed the issue of farmers’ welfare with the MD. Issues like cooperative development, Soil Rejuvenation and farmers’ related subjects were discussed.
IFFCO has , readers would recall, taken upon itself the assignment of computerizing PCF offices. Earlier, PCF Chairman said PCF will provide agricultural inputs to farmers at reasonable rates and these agricultural inputs would be provided to the state farmers through Agricultural Service Centers.
