Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Phulpur unit has received a prestigious Greentech Environment Award in Gold category for their stunning performance in protecting the environment.
Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi of the fertilizer giant has congratulated the Phulpur unit on their achievement. Dr Awasthi tweeted “Congratulations #IFFCO #Phulpur for #Gold Award in #Fertiliser Sector in Annual Greentech Environment Awards. Committed for #environment”.
The award is presented for displaying highest level of commitment to environment management covering all sectors of industry including the service sector.
Readers would recall that earlier IFFCO had won the Innovative CIO Award in IT in 2016.
Greentech Foundation was established in the year 2000 to celebrate the ethos of outstanding performance in environmental protection. It also promotes education and training in the field of environment management, says its website.
