IFFCO recently organized a farmers’ meeting in Punjab to apprise them of products and policies it has developed in the interest of farmers.
In his tweet IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote, “At #IFFCO, we keep on adding value to the #farmer. The #FarmerMeeting is one regular interaction with farmer where our scientists or agriculture experts share information about new products, their usage and other various tips & techniques which can help farmer to increase yield”.
As readers are aware, IFFCO has been imparting training to the farmers on different aspects of agriculture across India. The fertilizer cooperative has also organized seminars and workshops at intervals to disseminate information about the latest techniques of farming among farmers.
The meeting in Punjab was the latest in the series of interactive exercises by IFFCO to explain its products, policies and programs to the farmers. Sources say IFFCO officials consider these educational initiatives as important.
