Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has achieved a major international milestone with the successful registration of its Nano DAP in the Republic of Colombia.

Sharing the development, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani and also the MD K J Patel said the achievement reflects the cooperative’s commitment to taking the message of “Prosperity through Cooperation” to the global stage.

The registration is considered significant as Colombia previously had no established regulatory framework or protocol for nano fertilizers. According to Sanghani, nearly one and a half years of sustained discussions and technical engagement were required before the country developed the necessary regulations, paving the way for Nano DAP approval.

He described the achievement as a proud moment for India’s cooperative sector, highlighting the country’s innovation-driven and farmer-centric agricultural approach.

Sanghani said IFFCO is helping shape a new direction for the global cooperative movement through sustainable farming practices, advanced technology and farmer empowerment initiatives across international markets.
