During his visit to Palampur a hill station of Himachal Pradesh, IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi met scores of women cooperators one by one with enthusiasm and said IFFCO is committed to promoting their interests.
Several farmers participated in a Selfie session with the IFFCO MD in remembrance of their meeting with Dr. Awasthi. Awasthi’s happiness seeped out of him when he shared his views through social media “The love and faith of farmers and cooperators is the big reason behind the success of cooperative giant”.
Separate stalls had been setup for educating the farmers on how to do cashless transactions. A cooperative exhibition
was held where IFFCO showcased its products as well as it informed farmers about various policies it has launched in their interest.
During his visit, he also met Prof. Ashok Kumar Sariyal, Vice Chancellor, CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University, Palampur and discussed a range of things including technologies.
