IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi who is on a visit to Mauritius on a MCAF invitation, met the Prime Minister Pravin Kumar Jugnauth on the sidelines of an agricultural related function.
Awasthi was in fact the Guest of Honour at the inauguration Ceremony of Seedling Production Unit of Mauritius Cooperative Agriculture Federation MCAF. Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravin Kumar Jugnauth inaugurated the production unit.
IFFCO MD shared his vision on agriculture and plant nutrition while the Prime Minister along with others heard him in rapt attention. Awasthi tweeted to say “A moment of strengthening the Cooperative & Agriculture of two nations.”
IFFCO also on this occasion gave Sagarika to MCAF which will be used by country’s farmers.
Later, MD thanked the MCAF team and said “I was touched by the warmth and hospitality extended by Chairman and other members of MCAF family on IFFCO delegation during visit to Mauritius.”
