IFFCO MD hosts Brazil delegation at IFFCO Sadan

During the ongoing India–Brazil Trade Forum, a prominent Brazilian business delegation, led by the Director of Santa Catarina province, was warmly welcomed at IFFCO Sadan by K.J. Patel, Managing Director of IFFCO.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in nano fertilisers and secondary soil nutrients in the Brazilian market. Talks also explored production possibilities and the potential establishment of a nano fertiliser manufacturing unit in Brazil under the IFFCO Nano Ventures initiative.

Both sides emphasised that India–Brazil relations go beyond diplomacy, rooted in shared agricultural strengths and food security goals. With Santa Catarina known for progressive farming and agri-tech innovation, the meeting enabled meaningful exchanges on cooperative farming models, soil health, crop diversification and sustainable irrigation.

Senior officials, including Dr Yogendra Kumar, Dr K. Lakshmanan Arunachalam and Girish Sharma, were present, reinforcing IFFCO’s commitment to strengthening Indo-Brazil fertiliser cooperation.
