IFFCO Managing Director K. J. Patel attended the plenary session of the 17th ICA-AP Regional Assembly in Colombo on Wednesday, where the theme “Cooperatives as Catalysts for a Better Future” set the tone for engaging discussions.
Sharing the stage with global leaders, Patel said the session became a lively exchange on how cooperatives drive national economies and global well-being.
He stressed that innovation in agriculture is now a responsibility, not an option, especially with rising food demands and environmental pressures.
Patel highlighted IFFCO’s work on next-generation technologies like nano fertilisers that support farmers, protect soil health, and address climate change. He reaffirmed that cooperatives can build a future that safeguards nature and ensures shared prosperity.
