IFFCO & Kribhco bag several awards at FAI

The fertilizer cooperative giants-IFFCO and Kribhco received many awards in different categories during the Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) annual conference held on Wednesday in New Delhi.

On this occasion, the prestigious U S Awasthi Lifetime Achievement FAI Award was also bestowed on the awardees. These awards were given away by the Union minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansukhbhai Mandaviya.

Prof. Ram Badan Singh got the USAwasthi Lifetime Achievement FAI Award in the field of Agriculture Research & Development for his work in agricultural sciences and Prof. Ramesh Chand got the USAwasthi Lifetime Achievement FAI Award in Fertiliser Industry for his contributions in growth & development of fertiliser industry.

The IFFCO won 10 FAI Awards in different categories including second best video film on Nano Fertilizers. Kribhco won three and its subsidiary Kribhco Fertilizer Limited (KFL) received two awards in different categories.

IFFCO Aonla Unit (Aonla-II) won the award for the Best Production Performance FAI Annual Awards for the year 2022-23 in the Nitrogen fertilizer Unit, Ammonia and Urea category. Whereas, its Kalol Unit won the Best Production Performance FAI annual award for the year 2022-23 in Nitrogen fertilizer Unit, Ammonia and Urea.

Besides, IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar won the award for transfer of Improved Farm Technologies and Birinder Singh, Director (CRS) for recognition for facilitation of Diamond Sponsorship and brilliant coordination with FAI.

Kribhco Video Film on “Samriddhi ki Nayi Rah- Krishi Avshesh Prabandhan” got the first prize in the film category and was received by its Managing Director Rajan Chowdhry. Besides, one of its plants won the award for plant safety. Its Marketing Director V.S.R. Prasad won the award for Bio Fertilizer.
