IFFCO hosted a lunch in the honor of Dr Areil Guarco, President ICA and COOPERAR and other eminent personalities from cooperatives from Argentine at Taj Mahal Hotel on Sunday.
Besides the Chairman Ariel Guarco, ICA-AP Regional Director Balu Iyer, NCDC MD Sundeep Nayak, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi, Director Aditya Yadav, Co-op Relation Director A K Singh, Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar, Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh and Tarun Bhargava along with a delegation of COOPERAR attended the lunch.
However, NCUI President Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav could not attend the lunch due to his urgent political preoccupations in Bhind.
In a short message to Indian Cooperative, IFFCO Cooperative Relation Director Tarun Bhargava wrote, “IFFCO hosted a Lunch in Honour of Dr Ariel Guarco, President ICA & COOPERAR and Other Distinguished Cooperative Leaders from Argentina, who are a part of the Trade Delegation to India with the President of Argentina”.
It is to be noted that the ICA President along with the delegation of COOPERAR is visiting Delhi from 17-19 February 2019 to interact with key representatives of the cooperative sector in India.
Today, the apex body of cooperatives National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) is hosting a meeting to interact with the ICA President & delegates of ICA member organizations in India, key representatives of the cooperative sector and senior policymakers of the Nodal Ministry of the Government of India in the Board Room of NCUI.
ICA was founded in 1895 and is the one of the oldest non-governmental organisations and the apex body of around 3 million cooperatives in the world. As an authoritative exponent of cooperative principles and opinion globally, ICA is the most outstanding brand of cooperatives.
