Harshendra Singh Verdhan the PR Head of farmers’ cooperative IFFCO has bagged Best Communicators Awards presented during the All India Media Educators Conference on Sunday in Jaipur jointly organized by Rajasthan University and Amity University.
Along with Harsh Mr Naresh Kumar was also bestowed with this award. Kumar is an Asst General Manager at the Power Grid Corporation of India.
Harshendra is a well-known figure in the cooperative circles who keeps posting cooperative stuff on social media such as Face Book and Twitter ceaselessly. An IIMC alumnus, he is very active in the journalistic circles of Delhi.
Choosing to go in for PR in place of journalism Harshendra has an easy access to media houses as majority of journos walking the electronic and print media scenes are IIMC alumni.
A favorite of IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi , the latter has taken personal interest in grooming Harsh. Dr Awasthi told this correspondent once “see Harsh; how fine he is doing; we chisel people here at IFFCO”.
Besides other things, Harshendra led Iffcolive.com is doing a good job by highlighting success stories of farmers from across the country- a commendable work in the face of excessive negative vibrations generated by the mainstream media.
