IFFCO Former MD Dr U S Awasthi was felicitated at a special ceremony held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, on Thursday. The event was graced by the Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge), J.P.S. Rathore, along with leading cooperators of Uttar Pradesh’s cooperative fraternity.
The programme celebrated Dr. Awasthi’s outstanding leadership and his long-standing contributions to the cooperative movement and farmers’ welfare.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Awasthi expressed his gratitude for the recognition, noting that the respect and affection received from the cooperative family of Uttar Pradesh was deeply inspiring.
“I am deeply grateful for the warmth and respect extended to me. My focus will always remain on advancing farmers’ interests, protecting the environment, and serving the public good,” Dr. Awasthi said.
Several cooperative leaders and members were present at the felicitation, acknowledging Dr. Awasthi’s role in strengthening the cooperative sector nationally and internationally.
