The contribution cheque was handed over by IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi to Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena. The fertilizer cooperative’s Paradeep Unit head K J Patel, and Public Relation Officer Prasanna Kumar Beura were present on this occasion.
In his meeting with Jena, Awasthi also informed him about the Nano range of fertilizers being produced at its Paradeep Unit. He also apprised him of the World’s first Nano DAP plant, which is also being setup at its said unit.
It bears recall that Awasthi was on his tour to Odisha to attend the board meeting and other routine works.
During the visit, Awasthi also donated Rs 11 lakh for the development of the Holy temple of Bhagwan Jagannath in Puri.
