In a proud moment for the cooperative sector in particular and the sugar cooperative sector in general, the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2025’ was conferred upon Bipindada Kolhe, Chairman of the Sanjivani Group of Industries, by the Sugar Technologists’ Association of India (STAI) at a ceremony held in New Delhi last week.
This coveted honour recognizes Kolhe’s remarkable contributions to the sugar industry and his lifelong dedication to the welfare and upliftment of farmers. His visionary leadership, deep knowledge across various sectors, commitment to innovation, and exemplary organizational skills have left an indelible mark on the cooperative movement.
It is worth mentioning that his son, Vivek Kolhe, is on the board of IFFCO, and on this occasion, he wrote, “As a son, I feel immensely proud of the multifaceted personality that my father embodies, his devotion to farmers’ progress and his pioneering role in strengthening the cooperative sector is truly inspiring.”
The felicitation ceremony was graced by several distinguished dignitaries including Shri Harshvardhan Patil, Sanjay Awasthi, Ranjit Puri, Chinnappan, Jayant Patil, Sambha Kadu Patil, and Dr. Seema Paroha, among others.
This recognition marks a moment of great pride not only for Sanjivani and the sugar industry, but also for the people of Kopargaon and the broader farming community.
