Simanchal Padhy, IFFCO Director, won the district co-op election in the Ganjam district of Odisha. Padhy was elected for the fifth time.
Earlier, Padhy was elected as the President of Kapileswsar Multipurpose Cooperative Society, which is also based in Ganjam. This co-op has been serving more than 20000 farmers and providing them with agri inputs from IFFCO and its allied companies.
A low-profile cooperator, Padhy has been on the IFFCO Board for several terms.
Padhy is also actively popularizing Nano urea in his area. Recently he participated in an IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid Promotional and Publicity campaign organized by IFFDC at Village Solaghar of Ganjam District.
