An Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) delegation met Bihar Cooperation Minister Ram Kripal Yadav on Tuesday, to discuss various farmer-focused initiatives being implemented across the state.
The delegation included Prem Chandra Munshi, Director, IFFCO New Delhi, and Dr. Anand Kumar Srivastava, State Marketing Manager, IFFCO Bihar.
During the courtesy meeting, the officials briefed the minister about IFFCO’s ongoing schemes aimed at supporting farmers and strengthening the cooperative agriculture sector in Bihar.
The discussion also focused on the current availability of IFFCO fertilisers in the state and the growing importance of alternative fertilisers such as Nano Urea and Nano DAP.
The delegation explained the benefits and utility of these innovative products in improving nutrient efficiency, reducing fertiliser usage and promoting sustainable farming practices.
The meeting highlighted continued cooperation between IFFCO and the Bihar government for farmers’ welfare.
