IFFCO is celebrating its 55th Foundation Day today which falls on 3rd November. From the IFFCO MD to its HR Head R P Singh to many others have taken to social media shedding light on IFFCO.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote on twitter “Congratulations everyone associated with IFFCO on its 55th foundation day today. Together, we will innovate & propagate the technology for farmers welfare & growth of cooperatives. Heading towards growth & a global #cooperative with commitment of serving #farmers.”
Over the last 55 years, IFFCO has evolved into an ecosystem comprising products, services and support systems that ensure fairness, transparency and sustainable practices, claims its website.
Standing as the world’s largest fertilizer cooperative today, it was on November 3 in 1967 when the IFFCO was founded to help farmers with the production of quality fertilizers. The number of cooperative societies associated with the IFFCO has risen from 57 in 1967 to more than 39,800 at present.
