In order to push cooperative movement across the states, the entire Board of IFFCO landed in Jammu & Kashmir to hold its board meeting. IFFCO has also planned a mega farmers’ meet on Friday.
Talking to Indian Cooperative, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani informed that IFFCO has notable presence in the state and holding Board meeting here would inspire the local co-operators.
Later IFFCO MD tweeted about the event informing that IFFCO plans to hold meeting with local farmers as well. He also issued a small message through his tweet for the farmers.
In his speech Awasthi exhorts farmers to desist from using chemical fertilizers and stresses on Nano. He also informed that the said meeting at the stadium near Dal Lake would be presided by the Lt Governor Shri Manoj Sinha.
Besides, IFFCO has also scheduled to distribute sprayers to the local farmers.
