Fortune India 500 has yet again ranked the largest fertilizer cooperative as the top most company in the category of “Fertilizer and Agro Chemicals industries” in the country. Besides, in overall companies’ ranking IFFCO got the 57th position in Fortune India 500.
In overall companies ranking, earlier IFFCO had ranked the 68th position. Reliance Industries and Indian Oil Corporation got the 1st and 2nd positions respectively in this list.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi shared the good news through social media where followers competed with each other in congratulating him as well as IFFCO on this grand show.
Announcing the news, Awasthi tweeted “Happy to share that #IFFCO tops as a #cooperative in the #Fertiliser & #AgroChemical industries in #India by @FortuneMagazine. The rankings are based on many factors such as innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, financial soundness, long-term investment and global competitiveness.
The list of Fortune 500 Indian companies is compiled annually by the Magazine’s Indian edition.
