Irked by the “undeclared ban on recruitment” to district cooperative banks following the government’s decision to set up a ‘Kerala Bank’, jobseekers are planning to hold a ‘symbolic PSC examination’, reports Hindu.
The District Coop Bank All-Kerala PSC Rank Holders’ Association, which represents 6,000 people short-listed by the Kerala State Public Service Commission for appointment as clerks / cashiers, has decided to hold a symbolic PSC test in front of the State Secretariat on May 24.
The test, which will take double the usual PSC test duration, is aimed at highlighting the sad plight of qualified candidates.
