ICM Pune hosts Training on Risk-Based Internal Audit

A two-day training programme on “Risk-Based Internal Audit (RBIA) for Cooperative Banks” began at the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Pune, on 18 August 2025.

The programme, scheduled for August 18–19, aims to enhance the audit and risk management capacities of cooperative banks. It was inaugurated by Dr. Devdatta A. Divekar, Deputy Director of ICM Pune, who highlighted the importance of strengthening governance and internal controls in cooperative institutions.

During the inaugural session, Guest Faculty M.D. Shanware addressed participants, sharing his professional insights and practical experiences on RBIA practices.

The training has brought together banking professionals and auditors to exchange knowledge and build skills essential for ensuring transparency, compliance, and sustainable growth in the cooperative banking sector.
