ICM, Madurai organizes Co-op Awareness program

The Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Madurai, in collaboration with the Dindigul District Cooperative Union, organized a Cooperative Awareness and Member Education Programme at Rajakkapatti Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society (PACCS), Dindigul District, on Wednesday.

The programme was held under the guidance of K. Sathia Kumar Sam Michael, Director, ICM Madurai, with the objective of strengthening cooperative awareness and exploring avenues for growth in the cooperative sector.

Smt. G. Jeyanthi, Lecturer, ICM Madurai, delivered a lecture on the core values and principles of the Cooperative Movement. She emphasized the relevance of the National Cooperative Policy 2025 and explained various schemes and initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, aimed at supporting farmers and rural cooperatives.

The event saw the active participation of representatives from the Dindigul District Cooperative Union, the Rajakkapatti Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society (PACCS), Shri Issac, Managing Director, Dindigul Union, Mathew, Circle Supervisor, and Vellaisamy, Secretary.
