The Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Dehradun, has kicked off a three-day training programme on “Cyber Security and Software Security” under the SOFTCOB Scheme, sponsored by NABARD.

The programme, running from 11 to 13 August 2025, aims to equip cooperative banking professionals with advanced skills to counter emerging cyber threats.

Officers from State Cooperative Banks (SCBs) and District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) of Uttarakhand are participating in the training, which focuses on safeguarding digital assets, enhancing cyber resilience, and strengthening the security framework of cooperative banking systems.

Experts will cover topics including risk assessment, fraud prevention, secure banking software practices, and compliance with cyber security regulations. With the increasing digitisation of cooperative banking operations, the programme comes as a timely step to ensure the safety of financial data and transactions.
