The newly constituted board of International Cooperative Banking Association (ICBA) held its board meeting last week at Colombo, Sri Lanka which was attended by several cooperators including NAFSCOB MD and ICBA President Bhima Subrahmanyan, NCDC MD Sundeep Nayak, NCUI CE N Satyanaryana, Nafcub President Jyotindrabhai Mehta, among others.
It is reported that the meeting concluded with discussions about issues related to International Cooperative Banking System. Several foreign members were also there in the meeting.
Sharing the news through social media, Bhima Subrahmanyan who was recently elected ICBA President wrote, “Board meeting of International Cooperative Banking Association (ICBA) held on 12-13 Dec, 2019 at Colombo, Sri Lanka”.
The ICBA, established in 1922 aims at exchanging information, promoting cooperation among cooperative banks, advise and assist the development of new cooperative banks, carry out studies and research on subjects of common interest and several other things.
