ICAO foray: Sanghani leaves for Malaysia & Thailand

IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani, who has filed nomination for the Presidentship of ICAO, a sectoral organization of the International Co-operative Alliance, left for Malaysia Thursday morning for interaction with co-operators of the country.

Sanghani is scheduled to visit both Malaysia and Thailand and will be returning by 24th May. “I intend to meet co-operators of these countries and wish to apprise them of Indian views on agriculture”, said Sanghani to Indian Cooperative. Sanghani also shared his vision with the Indian Cooperative should he win the ICAO election.

Earlier, Sanghani sought blessings of Harima, mother of Union Minister Parshottam Rupala. Sharing a picture, Sanghani wrote “sought blessings of Harima, soon after filing for nomination for the post of Presidentship of ICAO. “There is no difference between Harima and my own mother as I have been visiting her since my childhood”, said Sanghani who is a childhood friend of Rupala.

ICAO elections are scheduled for 17th June, three days prior to the ICA elections which are scheduled for 20th June. Among others, IFFCO is making an all-out effort to get Sanghani elected.
