The Kerala Cooperative Expo 2025, held from April 21–30 at Kanakakunnu Palace, Thiruvananthapuram, showcased the strength of cooperatives under the UN theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World.”
ICA-AP’s Ganesh Gopal addressed a key seminar on “The Constitutional Promise for Cooperatives,” alongside state ministers and experts, stressing constitutional provisions like Article 19(1)(c), Part IXB, and Article 43B as vital to cooperative identity and economic democracy.
ICA-AP’s engagement included exposure visits and discussions on e-Governance and cooperative exchanges with representatives from Fiji and Kerala. Members like ULCCS, INDCOSERVE, and INKUR Federation also participated.
The Expo concluded with RBI Board Member Satish Marathe commending Kerala’s cooperative model. ICA-AP’s presence reaffirmed its commitment to cooperative growth across the Asia-Pacific.
