Biscomaun Chairman and veteran cooperator Sunil Kumar Singh has been felicitated in the Nafed AGM organized on Wednesday at the NCUI Auditorium for his entry in Bihar Vidhan Parishad. Singh has recently been elected unopposed as the MLC from Rashtriya Janata Dal, who is also the Vice-Chairman of Nafed.
During the AGM, when Sunil came to move a vote of thanks, seeing that no one is felicitating him on being elected as the MLC, Singh, known for his humour cracked a joke. Bihari cooperator said with a pun that no one is felicitating him on his victory.
“Last goal is the most gratifying one and thus we have saved the event at the very end of the function”, retorted Bijender Singh Nafed Chairman and yet another leader known for his sense of humour.
Soon the Nafed Management felicitated him with Shawl and other things. His wife Vandana Singh who was sitting in the audience was called by leaders such as Dr Chandra Pal Singh to the stage to be present in the photo session.
