Kamal Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha in Alibaug, Raigad district in Maharashtra has recently distributed blankets and food items among orphaned Children living in SAMPARC managed by an NGO as its small contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Around 50 children’ received blankets and food items. The society Chairman Satish Chandra Patil, Vice Chairman Satish Puro, directors and officials were present during the distribution ceremony.

Earlier, the society had hogged the media headlines when it crossed a business mix of Rs 250 crore creating enthusiasm among the managing committee members and members associated with the society.

Sampark Social Action for Manpower Creation- SAMPARC, NGO was established in 1990 for rehabilitation, care and educational development of orphan children in Maharashtra.

Kamal Nagri Sahakari Patsanstha was established on 4th April, 1992 with about 300 members and with a deposit of Rs 30,000. The Urban Credit Society was inaugurated by N.S. Pharande then speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly.

Over 3000 members are associated with the society. It has a share capital of 5 crore disbursing yearly 14 percent dividend to the members.
