IAS officer Hridesh Kumar of the J&K-AGMUT cadre has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), with the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
A 1999 batch officer, he previously served as Deputy Election Commissioner at the Election Commission of India.
In Jammu and Kashmir, Kumar held key roles including Commissioner/Secretary of PDD and Housing, CEO J&K, and Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, bringing vast administrative experience to his new role.
