The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB) has achieved a major national milestone by securing First Position in overall performance for Medium Category States under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for Kharif 2024 and Rabi 2024–25.
The achievement was recognized during the 13th National Review Conference, where the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, conferred the prestigious award, acknowledging the Bank’s outstanding implementation of PMFBY.
The national recognition underscores HPSCB’s crucial role in strengthening crop insurance coverage, ensuring timely settlement of claims, and providing effective risk protection to farmers across Himachal Pradesh.
The Bank attributed this success to the visionary guidance of its Chairman, Devender Shyam, the dynamic leadership of Managing Director Shrawan Manta, and the continued support of the Government of Himachal Pradesh, along with the dedicated efforts of its officers and staff.
