HP State Co-op Bank offers collateral free credit

In a bid to empower women, Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank launched ‘HPSCB SASHAKT MAHILA RIN YOJNA’, which aims at providing collateral free credit facility to women applicants for carrying out any kind of livelihood activity.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the scheme in a function attended by many cooperative functionaries including the bank Chairman Devendra Shyam, MD Sharwan Manta and others.

In his comment on the newly launched scheme, Shyam said, “This initiative on the part of the bank will certainly fulfil the basic aim of providing liberal credit facility and more and more aspiring women will get benefited to start their own business activities to become self-reliant”.

The bank is offering collateral free credit facilities for Rs 21,000, Rs 51,000 and Rs 1,01,000 under the scheme to empower them to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, engage in livelihood activities, fulfil their day to day needs and uplift their families and communities.
