Co-operator cum Union Home Minister, Amit Shah has been found to suffer from Covid 19 and as a matter of precaution, Shah got himself admitted to Medanta in Gurugram.
Shah himself tweeted about the development. Asking everyone who came in contact with him, Shah said they should get tested and be in self-isolation till the results come.
Shah who has been associated with the cooperative movement in the state of Gujarat is credited with turning around the fortunes of ADC Bank in the year 2000. Shah is still on the Board of many co-op bodies including Ahmedabad District Cooperative Bank which is headed by Ajay Patel.
Several co-operators have wished him a quick recovery. IFFCO MD tweeted in Hindi saying “praying God for the quick recovery of Amit Shahji. You have helped the country fight off Corona heroically and we wish you all the best”.
